What is PMC Unpaved?

PMC Unpaved is a spoke in the wheel of the Pan-Mass Challenge, a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. This new off-road event – held for the first time in 2022 – is set in the scenic backroads of the Berkshires on gravel or mountain bikes.

PMC Unpaved enables those who love bikes but prefer to ride off-road to participate in the mission of raising funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

PMC UNPAVED ROUTES

Ride 30 or 50 miles in the inaugural PMC Unpaved, an off-road bike ride over the scenic backroads of the Berkshires in western Massachusetts to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. PMC Unpaved is October 1, 2022.

Fundraising & Commitment

When you register for PMC Unpaved, you are signing up for a fundraising mission first, and a bike ride second.

Every rider commits to a fundraising minimum, with 100 percent of funds raised going to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. PMC Unpaved riders receive access to a powerful, personalized PMC Dashboard with email templates, fundraising guides, and donation tracking as well as the support of PMC staff.

This commitment is central to PMC Unpaved culture and enables the PMC to gift Dana-Farber millions of dollars each year.

Rider Registration Challenge for 2022

Announcing a new fundraising challenge issued by an anonymous PMC couple: every PMC Unpaved 2022 rider registration fee will be matched dollar for dollar. This could raise $2 million more for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, so be sure to register now for PMC Unpaved!

As an example, if you registered for a route with a $150 registration fee, this donor will donate $300 to our 2022 gift to Dana-Farber. This match is unlimited and applies to all 2022 registrations, so the more riders who register, the bigger the match!

Please share this challenge with your friends, family, and teammates who have not yet registered for PMC Unpaved.

This challenge applies to all 2022 PMC programs – PMC Unpaved, the Pan-Mass Challenge, PMC Winter Cycle, and PMC Kids Rides.
