Subaru of New England Is an Official Sponsor for PMC Unpaved

Subaru of New England has announced it was named an official sponsor of PMC Unpaved, the Pan-Mass Challenge's (PMC) gravel bike-a-thon through the scenic Berkshires in Massachusetts. For PMC Unpaved’s second year, the ride includes 50- or 30-mile gravel route options, starting and ending at Camp Mah-Kee-Nac in Lenox, MA. PMC Unpaved is a spoke in the wheel of the organization’s yearly fundraising campaign, with 100 percent of rider-raised dollars benefitting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Dana-Farber). Subaru of New England joins the PMC’s community of cyclists, volunteers, and generous donors in support of the shared goal to make an impact in the fight against cancer.

Subaru of New England is the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles and parts to the 65 Subaru Retailers in the 6 states of New England. Throughout New England, Subaru is known for its vehicle safety, longevity, and value – Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive vehicles give drivers confidence on every road and every adventure, regardless of weather conditions. With a focus on being More Than A Car Company through the Subaru Love Promise, Subaru of New England supports a diverse range of organizations through hundreds of community initiatives each year.

“Subaru of New England is proud to be a sponsor of PMC Unpaved,” stated Jeffrey Ruble, Chief Operating Officer of Subaru of New England. “We, alongside our Retailers, are committed to being a positive force in our communities through the Subaru Love Promise, and supporting those facing critical illness is the heart of our Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The PMC provides crucial funds to Dana-Farber’s life-saving research and care, and we are honored to be a part of this year’s event.”

“We are happy to welcome Subaru of New England as an official sponsor of PMC Unpaved this year,” said Jarrett Collins, PMC President. “We are grateful for their partnership as we continue to grow our gravel event which supports our fundraising efforts for Dana-Farber and this year’s record-breaking $70 million goal.”

PMC Unpaved will bring together hundreds of new and existing PMC riders for a fun and challenging gravel cycling experience to raise critical funding for cancer research, treatment, and patient care at Dana-Farber. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s largest single contributor, accounting for 60 percent of its Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. In 2023, the PMC has a fundraising goal of $70 million, which, if achieved will bring the organization’s total contributions in the fight against cancer to $970 million since 1980.
